Note on the use of artificial intelligence (AI)
On our website and on our social media channels, we use not only real photos and videos but also content that has been created, edited or altered using AI systems.
This applies in particular to images and illustrations, and in some cases also to video and audio content. This content is used for illustrative purposes and is intended to make topics, ideas and possibilities more tangible – not to mislead. We therefore expressly point out that the people, places or situations depicted in AI-generated content are not necessarily real. They may be entirely fictional and, in such cases, do not represent real people, actual places or real events.
We endeavour to label AI-generated content directly – where possible and appropriate – or to indicate this in the text. As such labelling cannot be implemented in the same way across all formats and platforms, this page serves as a central source of information and a transparency notice in accordance with the EU AI Regulation (AI Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2024/1689). Some of the systems we use also automatically and independently add digital tags or watermarks to AI-generated content, thereby further enhancing transparency.
If you have any questions about the use of AI-generated or AI-edited content, please do not hesitate to contact us.
For us, however, the use of artificial intelligence is not merely a technological issue, but also a matter of attitude and responsibility. We take a conscious and critical approach to the possibilities offered by these tools, guided by clear ethical principles: AI is intended to support human creativity and communication – but it should neither replace nor devalue them. Responsibility for the content we publish, its message and its social impact therefore always rests with us as human beings.
